When the Children's Dream Fund contacted me to see if I would be willing to do a shoot for its organization I was more than excited. I think that what this foundation does for terminally ill children is astounding and I was honored to be asked to take part. The following week I had the opportunity to meet this extraordinary young lady and her mother. Instead of wishing for a trip or vacation she wants to use her wish to have the best sweet 16 party a girl could hope for. She wants to celebrate life with all of her family and friends not just a select few. Here are a few of the images that we captured to be played in a slideshow at the event.

For all of our clients, fathers of the brides, friends and family who are dad’s (or soon to be dad’s).... today is your day!

So many times we take being a dad for granted. Sure it is stressful and challenging, but we are blessed to have a family.

Take some time today to remember your dad. Look back at all the sacrifices he made. I know personally looking back at my childhood I see my father so differently, now that I am dad myself.

Thank you dad for being there. Thank you for choosing to be a dad and provide for me. I may never be able to measure up or be the dad that you were but I am grateful that you set the bar so high. Our go kart rides through woods, hunting trip to Georgia, the countless times you came to my rescue and of course the times you said “no” when I needed it... THANK YOU! these experiences, and so many more, have helped to shape who I am today.

I challenge all of the dad’s who read this to realize the severity of your role in your childs life. You are more than a referee calling out the times that they do something wrong. You are their support system and life line. Your compassion, respect, determination and integrity will be their example as they grow.

Take a moment today and tell you dad you love him. Then go to your kids and just let them know how much you LOVE being their dad!

Our son Trevin is now 3 and and Michael and I celebrated 7 years of marriage this April. It has been a fun journey together and I have enjoyed every second.

John Chestnut Park in Palm Harbor, FL.... they even brought the dogs.

This was such a cute, yet very quick, engagement session. I got to meet Christina at the dog park inside John Chestnut. Once Jason, her fiancée, got there we started walking around with the dogs... which was quite an experience. I think they fed there dogs crack infused dog food :-)

Anyway, throughout all the crazy dog pulling escapades we managed to get some adorable shots that showed off the hot little k-9's... oh and the couple too, of course.

Life Long Studios lead shooters Mike, Buffy and Amy are on the open road this evening. Mike and Buffy will be shooting in Orlando this weekend at the Lowes Portofino Resort at Universal Studios. Alexis from the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay is going to meet us on Monday for her back in the dress / trash the dress session (no trashing though).

Amy is on her way to visit her family in Illinois this coming week. Amy has 8 other siblings, and of course parents that she will be hanging out with. She is getting in some last minute R&R before the mad wedding rush starts up. We are all hoping that she enjoys her frigid little trip to the icy tundra of the mid west US.

The lazy winter season has come and gone. We are about to embark on our crazy journey through spring wedding season.

This weekend we are shooting in Fort Meyers at the Plantation Resort for Maria. We are so excited to start our wedding season off with an amazing bride and new venue!

The crazy part is that starting this weekend we have a wedding every weekend until August. That means, at the bare minimum one of our teams is shooting at least 1 wedding per weekend.... There is even a weekend in February that we have 4 weddings on one day!
